Smith & Cross Traditional Jamaica Rum

This Jamaican 100% Pot Still, high ester rum is one of the heaviest pot still rums available and is said to be reminiscent of 19th century Jamaican rum. Smith & Cross is made using molasses, cane juice and syrup from sugar at the fabled Hampden Estate mill, and is distilled at the estate's own distillery. The use of wild yeasts in the fermentation process contributes to the potent character of the rums produced.

Made entirely from Wedderburn and Plummer pot still distillates, Smith & Cross bursts with bold notes of caramelized banana, tropical fruit, and spice, finishing earthy and dry. This is unapologetically old-school rum – no added sugar, no chill filtration, no shortcuts. Bottled at Navy Strength (57%), it’s a powerhouse in Tiki drinks, punches, and any classic that calls for real Jamaican depth, but also works as a sipping rum.

70cl Bottle
57% ABV

Tasting Notes:
Nose: heady with alcohol at first, tropical fruit, pineapple, vanilla, spices
Palate: thick on palate with dark fruit, caramel, toffee, spice notes
Finish: long and very warming, notes of peppery caramel on the tail end of the finish
