Dunville’s Palo Cortado 10 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Dunville's is the famous old brand that was once made in Belfast's Royal Irish Distillery. Sadly the distillery was one of many to falter in the mid-1900s and it looked as if Dunville's had disappeared permanently. Fortunately it has been resurrected by the Echlinville Distillery who are the proud owners of this historical whiskey and a number of other brands. 

A delicious offering from Dunville's that won Overall Winner for Irish Single Malt (11 Years & Younger Over €60) at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2024! The Dunville's Palo Cortado 10 Year Old is  a Single Malt like no other. 

Bottled at 46% without chill-filtration. 

Light tropical notes, dried mango, apricots and stewed orchard fruits give way to toasted almonds, mocha coffee and banana bread. Then the Palo Cortado sherry casks make their quality known, with darker stone fruits, sultanas, figs and stewed plums, with a medium dryness and light hints of nutmeg and clove.
